Before you start
Entry requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Hold a Yacht Master 100GT (Power) or equivalent qualification
- Logged 50+ days or 2,500 nautical miles at sea, including 50 hours as night watch leader (with evidence in logbook or letter of sea service)
- Medical fitness certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
- STCW Basic Safety Training (mandatory for commercial endorsement)
- Good English proficiency (for navigation, exams, and communication)
- Valid ID or passport
